VMware Workstation Player is a utility suitable for running a single virtual machine on a Windows or Linux PC.

Installation Requirements:

Disk space: min-10GB,Recommended-20GB or above.
Ram:min -512MB,Recommended-2GB or above.

step 1:- Download Vmware.




step 2:- Download Linux iso file.


Step 3:- Install the VMware
              Click the VMware download file
              
  •                  Click->next->next->next->next->finish.
                 
Sept 4:-Open VMware and Create a new Virtual Machine.
  •   Click Create new Virtual Machine
  •  After you see the new Virtual Machine Wizard, then click Next.                          

  •  Select installer disc image file(iso).
  • Click the Browse button and select the downloaded Linux iso file.
  •  Click the next.
                          
                          
  •  select  Linux.
  • select version Debian 10. x 64-bit or 32-bit depending on your system.
  • Click next
                                  
  • mention your Linux name.   
  • Click next.                   

  • Specify the Disk space,minimum-10GB, Recommended-20GB or above.
  • Click the Next. 
                              
  •     See your settings and click Customize Hardware.
  • Click next
              
  • Select ram size depending on your system.
  • select processors depending on your system.
  • Click Display, Click 3D graphics.
  • Click next.
      
  •       Click Close and Finish.
After clicking the power on the Virtual Machine, then installation starts.


step 5:- Click Graphical install 
     
  • Select your language and Click Continue
  • Select your location  and Click Continue
  • select a Keyboard layout and Click Continue

  • You will see the installation progress

  • Enter the hostname for your system and Click Continue

  • Enter your name and Click Continue

  • Enter your user name and Click Continue

    • Enter your password and Click Continue.
    • select the entire disk and click Continue.
    • select sda and Click Continue.
    • select all files in the partition(recommended for new users) and Click Conti                    
    • Select Finish Partitioning and Write Changes to Disk and Click Continue .        
    • Click yes, Be sure to write changes to the disk and Click Continue.                              
  • Now start the installing base system and Click Continue.
               
    • If you want to add some additional software, select that and Click Continue                              
    • Click yes for install the GRUB boot loader and Click Continue.     
    • Select the boot loader device for the GRUB installation ,select  /dev/sda and Click Continue. 
    • Installation will continue .
      • Installation is complete, click Continue and it will reboot automatically .
  • After restart, You see kali Linux home desktop.
