The submarine cables run several kilometers underwater and are time-consuming and more expensive. Some companies are established worldwide, known as Tier 1 Companies like Tata Communications and Reliance Communications.

The management of optical fiber around the plant is taken care of by Tier 1 companies.

The Optical fiber is connected to data centers around the world using power lines. It is sent directly to our homes by internet service providers, the companies that operate these are called Tier 2 companies like Airtel, Jio, Vi, etc.

The Tier 2 companies take over services in Tier 1. The company runs optical fiber cables underground

and manufactures RANs (cell phone towers). Internet is provided at cost.

The Tier 3 Companies Ar Act Fibernet and Me Broadband etc.  Tier 3 companies take connections from Tier 2 companies and those connections give us a home.

Tier 2 and Tier 3 companies money pay the Tier 1 company for using their services.

So we are money-paying to tier 2 and tier 3 companies as well. For example, we are all money paying monthly, 3 months, and yearly recharges for using their services.
